This is a foundation for men or women who lose a spouse tragicallly or unexpectedly and has a child/children under the age of 18 years.

Gina Cayne, the founder, of TJDCF, started this foundation to honor the memory of her husband, Jason David Cayne, who lost his life in the 2003 9/11 tradgedy. This foundation will help with the immediate financial burden that families will face.

Whether monetarily or just simply volunteering to help people deal with any paper work that arises in such a time of sadness and trauma. After such a tragic loss the simple act of writing out a bill becomes an overwhelming burden.

This foundation's main goal is to alleviate any unnecessary pain or worries dealing with money issues in which a grieving individual endures in the first months following a tragedy and will allow them to address more important issues. No one should have to face the fact of losing a spouse, as well as, the fear of having their children lose their home, school or friends, as well.

Jason David Cayne grew up in Manalapan where he met his childhood sweetheart Gina, who grew up in Marlboro. In 1992 Jason married Gina. He then began his career in municipal bonds. His continued devotion and success to his job led him to become a partner of Cantor Fitzgerald in 1995. By the year 2001, Jason was only 32 years old and was blessed with three beautiful children. He was a very devoted, caring and loving father, husband, son, brother and friend to all. On September 11, 2001 Jason was tragically taken from us.

Gina was so thankful to the community for all their generosity during her time of tragedy. Her only goal is to give back to the community what was so graciously given to her. In starting this foundation, Gina hopes that if even just one widow/widower's pain is helped by this foundation then Jason's memory will live on.....As Jason was all about helping others.
